Andrew Sean Kries was an extraordinary young man with a thirst for knowledge that seemed to be endless. He was forever asking questions and trying to learn new things. It seemed his initials (ASK) were more appropriate each day.

In order to honor Andrew's memory and to encourage his spirit of learning and discovery, the Kries family has created a yearly scholarship in Andrew's name. The scholarship is given once per year to one or more graduating high school seniors who exhibit some of the characteristics that made Andrew such a unique individual.

Although we will be forever saddened that Andrew is no longer with us, it is of some comfort that his name and enthusiasm for life and knowledge may carry on through the recipients of this award.
