Andrew, i didnt know you all that well, actually we only met a few times. So i dont have a lot of stories with andrew in them, but i remember everyday after school this spring. I would hang out with the usual people and we would wait for the track kids to come in. I was with sarah and we loved to make them get all red. So when he came in we would yell " ouuu theres andrewwww <33 he would get red and just look at us like we were crazy. The only reason why we did it was so that he would feel welcomed by his grilfriends friends, and he was she never shut up about him but it was so cute how in love they were, it was so cute to see them together, i just wish that i could have known him more and seen what a great kid he was. You will be missed greatly andrew <3 love you .. your my hero

Andrew,

You will be missed by myself and my boys. You were friends with both of my son's these past two years. You had a major impact on my son Mike's life. You are the one friend of Mike's that cared enough to tell him that he needed to make it ninth grade, so that you two could still be able to hang out.
I remember the first time I met you, I knew then that you were the kind of person that I wanted my boys to be friends with. Your jokes, laughter and smile will be missed.
The friendship that you and Mike shared was very special to him. He misses you alot. Justin misses you too. I will miss the laughter and jokes that were told in my van when I would pick you, Mike and Justin and Arthur up at Taylor Street School or Quick Chek after getting Mike and Justin's younger brother, Ray from school.
Your life unfortunately was cut short, but the impact that you had on people's lives during the fourteen years you spent with us, will live on forever...

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Kries family.

Rest in peace Andrew.
You will be missed.

There You'll Be

When I think back
On these times
And the dreams
We left behind
I'll be glad 'cause
I was blessed to get
To have you in my life
When I look back
On these days
I'll look and see your face
You were right there for me

[CHORUS:]
In my dreams
I'll always see you soar
Above the sky
In my heart
There always be a place
For you for all my life
I'll keep a part
Of you with me
And everywhere I am
There you'll be

Well you showed me
How it feels
To feel the sky
Within my reach
And I always
Will remember all
The strength you
Gave to me
Your love made me
Make it through
Oh, I owe so much to you
You were right there for me

In my dreams
I'll always see you soar
Above the sky
In my heart
There always be a place
For you for all my life
I'll keep a part
Of you with me
And everywhere I am
There you'll be

'Cause I always saw in you
My light, my strength
And I want to thank you
Now for all the ways
You were right there for me
You were right there for me
For always

In my dreams
I'll always see you soar
Above the sky
In my heart
There always be a place
For you for all my life
I'll keep a part
Of you with me
And everywhere I am
There you'll be

Well andrew was in my science class and was the star of our science class. Its a lot different without him, but when ever i walk into the science class i remember all the funny things that happened. Well one time he got really suprised about something and made a really shocked face and it was soooo funny. He was funny. All the time he was singing country songs and got everyone else to start singing them. Sometimes he sang gasolina and since he didn't know everyword he would improvise. It was funny he would say like spanish word, jibberish, blah blah blah. I will always remember that. He also in 6th grade sang ocean avenue for the talent show. That song will never be the same, but i'll always remember him when i hear it. He was the best and i will never forget him.

Andrew,

I knew you as a Very funny, caring, and amazing person. You will always be remembered in my memories of Mr. Dornich's class. (once a 4-Der always a 4-Der) I am sorry that your life had to end this way, and i can not even imagine how much pain your family/close friends are going through. (including me) This has made me realize so much. I truly feel very sad and can see what everyone is going through. I wish you would've been able to "become a teacher" and "back-pack to Europe"...This quote makes me think about this situation---At times we take for granted, how precious life can be. Rest in Peace, Andrew Kries. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

With love,
Aimee

I didnt really know andrew until i joined boyscouts, but after i joined he treated me like just like he would treat a friend he knew for many years. I have a few memorible moments but this one sticks out. We were on our trip to Labanon a few weeks ago. It was the day we went on our hike and we were packing our lunches. Mr. Micelli told us to make peanut-butter jelly sandwiches for lunch on our hike. Andrew walked up and chanted "Its peanut-butter jelly time!" and everyone started laughing hysterically. There were people on the other side who heard him and looked over. We couldn't stop laughing. The special thing about Andrew's humor was that if someone else had said that, we wouldnt of laughed. Andrew had a way of saying stupid things and making them hysterical. Among many others, this was Andrew's gift. My sympathy goes out to you Kries family. I can't believe he's actually gone...

I just want to say as everyone else had been saying...Andrew was one of the funniest and sweetest kids I have ever met. He was so commited to his boy scout work and was so great to help my brother when he needed help with something. I can still see him at my house walking down my steps when he came over to hang out with my brother. So sweet and missed by all....take care.
