I didnt know Andrew from heart to heart but i still knew what he was like! we had fun at ski club and he was reall;y funny! its hard not to have him here right now! even though everyone says the good die young its like why do you have to die when your life is just starting?! i wish this would never had happened!! i give all my respects to the Kries family and the ones that were his best friends! im sorry for the lost of your best friend and your son! this will be a differnet world without him in it! Im sorry for the loss

It is certainly obvious that Andrew was a very special person. I'm very sorry that I was not blessed with the opportunity to meet him. I would just like to take this time to send my heartfelt sympathies to Mr. J. Kries and his family. I cannot even begin to imagine the pain that you are all going through. I dont really know Andrew but i know him through my cousin Ashley Pietro, he seemed like an amazing guy. One life made such a difference in the world, and andrew's death affected everyone. I would like to say how sorry i feel for all of Andrew's friends and his family.

This is probably one of the most difficult things I’ve ever experienced. Although I never met Andrew personally, I feel I have come to know him through the many lives he has touched. As I stood with my daughter waiting to pay our respect to the family, we talked about how precious life was, how unfair it can be, and how important it is that we remember to love those around us each and every day. I reminded her that God does not promise us tomorrow.
This website has become a tribute to Andrew’s life. It’s filled with love and respect for a young man who spent only a short time with those who loved him but will live on through them and so many others for years to come.
May your memories be a source of comfort as you recall the many happy times you shared with Andrew. My thoughts are with you as I extend my heartfelt sympathy to Mr. J. Kries and his family. May God bless you and comfort you at this most difficult time in your lives.

I guess me and Andrew always knew who each other was but we had never actually FORMALLY met. I remember the first time we were introduced to each other by a friend at the beginning of this school year. I remember he said, "HI MARISSA" and then just gave me a huge hug even though he barely knew me. It just made me smile at what such a sweet kid he was.
I'm sorry I didn't get to know him better.

 I remembered another day, it was the night Andrew went to the hospital. We were sitting on my couch and I had explained how my best friend erica had fun shoving my face into her chest since she knew I couldnt stand that. (kind of sick). so Andrew grabbed my face and shoved it in his chest and was like "drinky drinky" That still cracks me up. He got so into it and I was so creeped out. I was like uhmm help. and he stopped and gave me a kiss. That memory will always make me smile. I love you Andrew Sean Kries.

i didnt know andrew all that well and it is a shame that i could not get to know him better,we only hung out a couple times and my deepest sypathies go to his family.The kries family lived for their kids , and everyone knows that they WILL pull through this.
